BE A TRANSFORMER
/“Our key to transforming anything lies in our ability to reframe it.” - Marianne Williamson
What are you pursuing in life? Are you happy with the direction of your leadership? Are you getting what you want out of life?
Research reveals that humans have approximately 60,000 thoughts per day and 90% of these thoughts are repetitive!
Yes, I said we have 60,000 thoughts a day and 90% of these thoughts are repetitive!
It goes on to say that if we stopped 10% of the repetitive thoughts, what would you be able to create, understand, and see, more clearly?
I think it is worth discovering what you do if you transformed your thoughts. Part of being a transformer is actually changing. The question is what do you need to change?
I believe the American author and lecturer Marianne Williamson has the right idea. She has published eleven books, in which four of those books have been New York Times number one bestsellers. Along with her writings, she has founded several organizations and serves on Boards that are making a difference.

This is more than just a quote. If you look at her life’s work, you will see a person that is all about being a transformer. She lives this quote. You may feel overwhelmed looking at her accomplishments, but the truth is she started exactly where you are. And if you combed over her life, I am sure you will find many failures.
You are able to be a transformer, but there is a process you must follow to be a transformer that will lead to many of your life’s successes.
How To Be A Transformer
A transformer is an electrical device that transfers electrical energy between two or more circuits. These devices are used to increase or decrease alternating voltages in electrical power applications. What does all this mean?
You need to be a leader that can transfer your knowledge, power, and insight to other leaders. Being a transformer is a process and here are just a few tips to becoming more of a transformer.
1. Start where you are. Sometimes the success . Avoid getting side tracked or distracted by looking at others. Start where you are, with what you have, and make a difference.
2. Change you. Remember, we have 60,000 thoughts a day and 90% of these thoughts are repetitive! Change the way you think about yourself and how you go about making a difference. You cannot help someone else if you haven’t attempted to help yourself.
3. Go get it. With some of the leaders I have had the privilege to coach, they think entirely too much. It is good to think because it is the only way to lead to a better awareness of whom we can be and what we need to do. However, constant thinking without any action leads to a lack of progress. You have to think and act for success to become part of our life.
Let me leave you with a few final thoughts. If you will commit to working on yourself, many doors of opportunity will open for you. The key is transforming you. Change some of the 60,000 thoughts you think everyday. Make only 80% of those thoughts repetitive. A small change will transform your life in a major way bringing you an abundance of success.
